Support

Need help with commits? Email hello@commits.sh. Include your device, app version, and what happened. Never send passwords, API keys, or sign-in codes.

Not seeing your usage?

  1. The commits.sh menu bar app says Streaming or Syncing next to your handle.
  2. The app is in Applications and running. It starts at login.
  3. You approved the code with the GitHub account that owns your profile.
  4. The first upload can take a few minutes on a long history.

Still nothing? Pair again or email hello@commits.sh with your handle.

GitHub sign-in

Choose Continue with GitHub on Home and finish approval on GitHub's page. Return to commits to see your public GitHub activity. Public profiles are also available in Explore.

Widgets and readings

Open commits after connecting an account, then add a commits widget from the Home Screen widget gallery. For usage widgets, choose the account in Edit Widget. GitHub widgets use your signed-in GitHub account and support small and medium Home Screen sizes. iOS controls background refresh; open the app to check the latest reading if a widget is out of date. Sample previews are labeled and do not represent your account.

Privacy and connected accounts

Provider accounts are connected separately from GitHub. You can remove a provider from its account details. To stop private Mac sync, open You and choose Remove private Mac limits. To delete your commits account and synced data, open Delete account. Read the privacy policy for what is stored.
